Summary

A low sub-circular mound in a field to the southeast of Pamphill is visible on current Lidar imagery. The feature is indistinct but may be archaeological in origin, possibly a Bronze Age barrow, although it may alternatively be a natural feature. It was digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP project.

Full Description

A low sub-circular mound in a field to the southeast of Pamphill is visible on current Lidar imagery (1).

The feature comprises a low mound approximately 10m in diameter and possibly of archaeological origin, potentially a Bronze Age barrow, although it may alternatively be a natural feature. It was digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP project.
