Full Description
An irrregular ditched hollow in the parkland east of Henbury House, Sturminster Marshall, is visible on current Lidar imagery.
The feature comprises a shallow sub-square irregular depression up to 55m long by up to 70.5m wide.
The feature is presumed to be a post medieval extractive pit; it is recorded as 'square pit' on the OS 1st Edition map.
The feature was digitally plotted from current Lidar imagery by the Dorset Stour NMP project.
