Summary

The probable site of a Late Neolithic/Early Bronze Age oval barrow is visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs to the east of High Lea Dairy, Hinton Parva. It is one of a linear grouping of barrows and an extension of the High Lea Farm Group . The barrow is 43m by 27m across and appears to have an internal circular pit feature 14m across. It was digitally plotted from aerial photographs during the Dorset Stour NMP.

Full Description

The probable site of a Late Neolithic/Early Bronze Age oval barrow is visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs to the east of High Lea Dairy, Hinton Parva (1-2). It is one of a linear grouping of barrows and an extension of the High Lea Farm Group . The barrow is 43m by 27m across and appears to have an internal circular pit feature 14m across. It was digitally plotted from aerial photographs during the Dorset Stour NMP.
