Full Description
A ditched curvilinear feature in Holmwood Park is visible on 1940s aerial photographs (1).
The feature runs along the south side of a field on the east side of Holmwood Park, cutting through a probable historic field boundary (MDO41324) of possible medieval to post medieval origin. It is presumed to be a historic trackway of probable post medieval date.
The site is still a field on current Google Earth imagery and the feature is still visible. It was digitally plotted from 1940s aerial photographs by the Dorset Stour NMP project.
