Full Description
Ditched linear features to the northeast of Knighton House are visible on 1940s aerial photographs (1 and 2).
The features cross several fields to the east and northeast of Knighton House and at their southwest end link in to the acces road to Knighton House from the southeast (1 and 2). They are presumed to be post medieval trackways.
The site is still open ground on current Google Earth imagery. The features are still partly visible, although faintly; a later field boundary has replaced the southern section of one of the ditched linears. The features were digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP project.
