The area was partly under plough and partly under grass. No trace of field system seen. <3>

The area is now completely under plough, and no trace of a field system could be seen either on the ground, or OS air photographs <5.1>. <5>

Centred at ST89121260. There were no visible traces of a field system in the area indicated. The site falls on fairly flat upland and is more likely to have contained an IA/RB type field system than a medieval one. The land was partly under the plough and partly under grass.
