Full Description
An irregular ditched feature to the west of Knighton Farm is visible on 1940s aerial photographs (1).
The feature is up to 22m long by up to 15m wide. A 1946 aerial photograph shows the feature to be water-logged, or retaining water (1).
The feature is shown but not named on the OS 1st Edition map and may be a post medieval extractive pit, or possibly a pond (2).
The feature is no longer visible on current Google Earth imagery. It was digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP.
