Full Description

A ditched linear feature at Canford Magna is visible on 1940s aerial photographs (1).

The feature is presumed to be a trackway of probable post medieval origin. It is situated between two post medieval small extractive pits (MDOs 41119 and 41120) ; at its east end it forks around to the north and south of the largest of thes (MDO41119), clearly respecting it (1).

The site is developed as housing on current Google Earth imagery and the feature is no longer visible. It was digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP.
