Full Description
Ditched linear features at Canford Magna are visible on 1940s aerial photographs (1).
The features comprise interlinking narrow rectilinear ditches that occupy the whole of a historic enclosure recorded on the OS 1st Edition map (2).
The features are presumed to be a drainage system of probable post medieval origin.
The site is developed as housing on current Google Earth imagery and the features are no longer visible. They were digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP.
