Full Description
Ditched linear features on the southwest side of Broadstone Golf Course are visible on aerial photographs (1 and 2).
The features are presumed to be historic trackways of probable post medieval origin. One of the trackways appears to continue either side of the Southampton and Dorchester railway line; a crossing point is recorded at this location on the OS 1st Edition map (3).
The site is still part of Broadstone Golf Course on current Google Earth imagery and some features remain visible. The features were digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP project.
