Summary

Ditched linear features to the northwest of Ashington are visible on aerial photographs (1).

The features are narrow and rectilinear in form. They may be historic field boundaries of possible post medieval date, although they may alternatively be post medieval trackways.

The site is still fields on current Google Earth imagery but with some much recent boundary change (since 1970). The features are not visible. They were digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP project.
