Full Description
Parallel banked linear features to the northeast of Merley Park are visible on 1940s aerial photographs (1).
The features are situated in the northeast corner of Merley Park, which is shown as open parkland on the OS 1st Edition map (2).
The features may be historic field boundaries of possible medieval date, although a later origi is also possible.
The site is now below modern road improvement on current Google Earth imagery. The features are no longer visible. They were digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP project.
