The features comprise a 30m row of anti tank cubes positioned on the northeast side of poole Road, forming a defensive line across a neck of open ground on the east side of the River Stour between the backlines of housing plots.
The features may be part of a wartime defence line around Wimborne Minster ; additional rows of anti tank cubes are visible on 1940s aerial photographs to the west, north, east and southeast (see MDOs 41027-9 and 41031-3)
