A small post medieval extractive pit in a field to the north of Ashton Farm is visible on current Lidar imagery (1).

The feature is up to 40.5m long by up to 37m wide. It is also visible on a 1940s aerial photograph (2).

The feature was digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP project.
