Full Description
A ditched curvilinear feature to the north of what is now Rosedale Farm is visible on 1940s aerial photographs (1).
The feature is narrow and curvilinear in form. It is located within a lareg irregular historic enclosure recorded on the OS 1st Edition map, whose curvilinear boundaries are probably medieval in origin (2).
The feature may also be a historic field boundary of possible medieval origin but alternatively could be a post medieval trackway.
The site is still fields on current Google Earth imagery but the feature is no longer visible. It was digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP project.
