Summary

Ditched linear features in fields to the southwest of Holt Green Farm are visible on 1940s aerial photographs. The features are presumed to be part of a post medieval drainage system. They were digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP project.

Ditched linear features in fields to the southwest of Holt Green Farm are visible on 1940s aerial photographs (1).

The features comprise a long southeast to northwest aligned linear ditch with a series of shorter ditched linears offsetting this at right angles. They are presumed to be part of a post medieval drainage system.

The site is still fields on current Google Earth imagery and the features remain faintly visible. They were digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP project.
