Full Description
An area of narrow ridged and ditched cultivation in a field to the northwest of Broadbridge is visible on 1940s aerial photographs (1).
The features comprise narrow parallel ridges set around 4m apart with 1m wide ditches in between. The features are faint in 1947 (1). They may be those of post medieval narrow ridge and furrow.
The site is still fields on current Google Earth imagery but the features are no longer visible. They were digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP project.
