Summary

Ditched rectilinear features on the south side of Uddens Park are visible on aerial photographs. The features are presumed to behistoric field boundaries or trackways of possible post medieval date. They were digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP project.

Full Description

Ditched rectilinear features on the south side of Uddens Park are visible on aerial photographs (1).

The features comprise two ditched linears on the south side of Daffodil Copse, situated within an irregular historic enclsoure recorded on the OS 1st Edition map (2). The features are presumed to be field boundaries or trackways of possible post medieval date.

The site is still fields on current Google Earth imagery but the features are no longer visible. They were digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP project.
