Full Description
Ditched linear features to the west of Wood End are visible on aerial photographs (1).
The features comprise a series of narrow rectilinear ditches set closely parallel to each other on the southeast side of an irregular historic enclosure recorded on the OS 1st Edition map (2).
The features are presumed to be post medieval drainage ditches.
The site is still fields on current Google Earth imagery but with some boundary removal since the 1940s (1). The fields are ploughed and cropped and the features are no longer visible. They were digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP project.
