Monument record MDO4083 - Prehistoric field system south of Brookman's Valley, Iwerne Minster

ST 977137 Crop marks of rectangular enclosures (Iron Age/Romano-British type field system) visible on air photographs. <1-3>

The area has been under plough but is now grass covered. No trace of field system seen. <4>

The area is partly pasture, and partly arable, and no trace of a field system could be seen either on the ground or on OS air photographs <6.1>. Cropmarks visible on RAF air photographs <6.2>. <6>
