Ditched and banked linear features on the north side of Long Lane, Colehill, are visible on 1940s aerial photographs. The features are presumed to be historic field boundaries of probable post medieval date, although an earlier origin is possible. The features were digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP project.

The features comprise a broken banked linear and two perpendicular narrow ditched linears which sub-divide a historic enclosure recorded on the OS 1st Edition map and whose boundaries are probably medieval in origin (2).

The features are presumed to be historic field boundaries of probable post medieval date, although an earlier origin is possible.

The site is still open ground on current Google Earth imagery but has seen much modern re-use. The features are no longer visible. They were digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP project.
