Full Description
A large sub-circular ring-ditch at Canford Bottom, Colehill, is visible on 1940s aerial photographs (1).
The feature comprises a low central mound 19m in diameter encircled by a 1.4m wide ditch. A post medieval trackway crosses the feature from east to west. It is possible that the feature is a Bronze Age barrow.
The feature is still visible on current Google Earth imagery and was digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP project.
