Full Description

Ditched linear features to the south of Park Homer, Colehill, are visible on 1940s aerial photographs (1).

The features are narrow and curvilinear in form and correspond with a trackway present on the OS 1st Edition map, leading towards Park Homer Farm from the south (2). The southernmost linear appears to be an extension of this trackway across fields to the south of Homer Park Farm. The northernmost linear diverts northwest from the trackway to lead towards Park Homer House. The features are therefore presumed to be historic trackways of probable post medieval date.

The site is under housing on Stroud Close and Olivers Road on current Google Earth imagery and the features are no longer visible. They were digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP project.
