Full Description

A series of ditched and banked linear features to the east of Cottage Farm, Colehill, are visible on 1940s aerial photographs (1).

The features are narrow and irregular or cirvilinear in form. They skirt around and cross historic enclosures present on the OS 1st Edition map and are considered likely to be post medieval trackways; some features interlink with a trackway running from west to east across the north end of the fields, which is still visible on current Google Earth imagery.

The features are no longer visible on current Google Earth imagery. They were digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP project.
