Full Description
A series of irregular features are visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs in a field to the south of Witchampton Lane (1). They are considered likely to be the result of extraction or geology but lie in close proximity to a group of Bronze Age Round barrows and some of the smaller features may be prehistoric. The site was digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.
