Full Description
A series of ditched linear features to the east of Leigh Common, Colehill, are visible on 1940s aerial photographs (1).
The features comprise interlinking narrow rectilinear and curvilinear ditches presumed to be part of a post medieval drainage system.
The features are still partially within open fields and visible on current Google Earth imagery; the eastern extent is now under Hayes Close. The features were digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP project.
