Summary

Bank and ditched field boundaries are visible as earthworks on lidar imagery in the fields to the west of Crichel House, Moor Crichel. The boundaries are considered to be of post medieval, medieval or earlier origin, probably pre-dating the creation of the lake and landscape park associated with Crichel House. The features were digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.

Full Description

Bank and ditched field boundaries are visible as earthworks on lidar imagery in fields to the west of Crichel House, Moor Crichel (1). The boundaries are considered to be of post medieval, medieval or earlier origin, probably pre-dating the creation of the lake and landscape park associated with Crichel House. The features were digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.
