Summary

Five rounded hollows are visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs in the field marked as Speckles Field to the south of New Town and were digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP. The whole field is scattered with what are presumed to be natural features, the five plotted may however be of extractive origin.

Five rounded hollows are visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs in the field marked as Speckles Field to the south of New Town and were digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP (1). The whole field is scattered with what are presumed to be natural features (2-3), the five plotted may however be of extractive origin.
