Full Description
A series of ditched linear features to the east of Leigh Common, Colehill, are visible on 1940s aerial photographs (1).
The features comprise interlinking narrow rectilinear and curvilinear ditches presumed to be part of a post medieval drainage system.
The features are still within open fields on current Google Earth imagery but are not visible, although some or all the features may be incorporated into or replaced by a series of modern drainage channels. The features were digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP project.
