Full Description
Four hollows are visible as cropmarks and earthworks on aerial photographs and lidar imagery between Cockrow Farm and The Rookery, Moor Crichel (1-2). They are considered likely to be post medieval extractive pits and were digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP. One is marked as 'Old Chalk Pit' on the OS 1st Edition Map (3).
