Monument record MDO40668 - Post Medieval extractive pit, The Menagerie, Moor Crichel

A large hollow is visible as earthworks under trees on lidar imagery to the west of Moor Crichel. It lies within a coppice marked as The Menagerie on the OS 1st Edition Map and is considered likely to be a post medieval extractive pit or quarry. It was digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.
