Full Description
Ditched linear features to the southeast of Wimborne Minster are visible on 1940s aerial photographs (1).
The features comprise series of narrow parallel and perpendicular linear ditches aligned with adjacent historic field boundaries. They are presumed to be part of a post-medieval drainage system.
The features are still within open fields and visible on current Google Earth imagery. The features were digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP project.
