Summary

Ditched and banked linear features to the southeast of Wimborne Minster are visible on 1940's aerial photographs. The features are presumed to be historic field boundaries of probable post-medieval date, although an earlier origin is possible. The features were digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP project.

Ditched and banked linear features to the southeast of Wimborne Minster are visible on 1940s aerial photographs (1).

The features are narrow and rectilinear in form and are presumed to be historic field boundaries of probable post medieval date, although an earlier origin is possible.

The features are still within open fields, although partly under vegetation on current Google Earth imagery but the majority are still faintly visible. The features were digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP project.
