Full Description
A ditched curvilinear feature to the north of Walford Bridge is visible on 1940s aerial photographs (1).
The feature is narrow and slightly sinuous in form and aligns with a historic field boundary and road to its east, on a north to south axis. The feature may be a historic field boundary of possible medieval date, although a later origin is possible. Alternatively it may be a post medieval trackway.
The feature is no longer visible on current Google Earth imagery. It was digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP project.
