Full Description
A small post medieval extractive pit to the south of Stone Park House is visible on current Lidar imagery (1). It is also faintly visible on 1940s and 1950s aerial photographs (2 and 3).
The feature is sub-oval in form and around 14.5m long by 10.6m wide. It is situated adjacent to the south side of Cowgrove Rd.
The feature was digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP project.
