A post medieval quarry pit is marked on the OS 1st edition map on the junction of Crichel Lane and Lawrence Lane, Witchampton. It is visible as low earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1981 and on more recent lidar imagery. The site was digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.

A post medieval quarry pit is marked on the OS 1st edition map on the junction of Crichel Lane and Lawrence Lane, Witchampton. It is visible as low earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1981 and on more recent lidar imagery (1-2). The site was digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.
