Summary

A banked linear feature on the golf course to the west of Holdenhurst is visible on current Lidar imagery. The feature is presumed to be a historic field boundary of probable post medieval date, although an earlier origin is possible. The feature was digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP project.

A banked linear feature on the golf course to the west of Holdenhurst is visible on current Lidar imagery (1).

The feature is presumed to be a historic field boundary of probable post medieval date, although an earlier origin is possible.

The site is a golf course on 2017 Google Earth imagery but the feature is still faintly visible. It was digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP project.
