Full Description
Two ditched linear features to the southeast of Holfleet Cottage,Winkton, are visible as cropmarks on 2006 aerial photographs (1 and 2).
The features comprise two broadly parallel ditches around 72m apart and on a slightly different alignment to an historic field boundary to the west, present on the OS 1st Edition map. The features may be historic field boundaries of possible post medieval date, although an earlier origin is also possible.
The features were digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP project.
