Summary

A short ditched linear feature to the southeast of Holfleet Cottage,Winkton, is visible as a cropmark on 2006 aerial photographs. The feature is presumed to be a field boundary of probable post medieval date, although an earlier origin is possible. It was digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP project.

Full Description

A short ditched linear feature to the southeast of Holfleet Cottage,Winkton, is visible as a cropmark on 2006 aerial photographs (1 and 2).

The feature is presumed to be a field boundary of probable post medieval date, although an earlier origin is possible.

The features were digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP project.
