Ditched linear earthworks on the Avon River floodplain to the northeast of Christchurch are visible on 1940s aerial photographs (1).

The features are considered to be post medievaldrainage ditches.

The featrues are still largely visible on current Google Earth imagery. They were digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP project.
