Full Description
Ditched linear earthworks on the Avon River floodplain to the northeast of Christchurch are visible on 1940s aerial photographs and on current Lidar imagery (1 - 3).
The features are considered to be post medievaldrainage ditches.
The featrues are still largely visible on current Google Earth imagery. They were digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP project.
