Full Description
A ditched linear earthwork on the Avon River floodplain to the northeast of Christchurch is visible on 1940s and 1950s aerial photographs and current Lidar imagery (1-3).
The feature is considered to be a historic trackway of probable post medieval date, although an earlier origin is also possible. It was digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP project.
