A ditched linear earthwork on the Avon river floodplain at Christchurch is visible on 1940s aerial photographs (1).

The feature is presumed to be a historic trackways of probable post medieval date.

The feature is still visible on current Google Earth imagery. It was digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP project.
