Summary

Three sides of a small rectilinear banked field enclosure and a linear banked field boundary are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1946in the field to the north of The Oaks, Horton. They are considered likely to be of medieval or later date and were digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.

Full Description

Three sides of a small rectilinear banked field enclosure (28m aross) and a linear banked field boundary are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1946 in the field to the north of The Oaks, Horton (1-2). They are considered likely to be of medieval or later date and were digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.
