Summary

An orchard is marked on the OS 1st edition map to the north of Horton House (what is now, Orchard Mews). Three parallel banks, probably plantation ridges associated with the orchard, are visible as earthworks on lidar imagery. The site was digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.

An orchard is marked on the OS 1st edition map to the north of Horton House (what is now, Orchard Mews) (1). Three parallel banks, probably plantation ridges associated with the orchard, are visible as earthworks on lidar imagery (2). The site was digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.
