Full Description
The potential site of a Bronze Age round barrow is visible as a cropmark mound on aerial photographs taken in 1976 (1). It lies to the southeast of Matterley Cottages and is possibly an outlier to the Knowlton Circles Barrow Group although a geomorphological origin for the cropmarks is possible. The feature is 16m across and was digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.
