Please read our .

Summary

A scatter of curvilinear cropmarks are visible on aerial photographs between Stanbridge Mill Farm and Matterley Cottages. The seventeen curvilinear features are between 8m and 32m across. The cropmarks indicate that they are hollows rather than mounds, they are possibly pond barrows but a natural geological or extractive origin is thought more probable. The features were digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.
