Full Description
A scatter of curvilinear cropmarks are visible on aerial photographs between Stanbridge Mill Farm and Matterley Cottages (1-3). The seventeen curvilinear features are between 8m and 32m across. The cropmarks indicate that they are hollows rather than mounds, they are possibly pond barrows but a natural geological or extractive origin is thought more probable. The features were digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.
