Monument record MDO40402 - Post medieval drainage system, Didlington Farm, Moor Crichel

An extensive post medieval drainage system is visible as earthworks on lidar imagery and aerial photographs to the northwest of Didlington Farm, Chalbury. It was digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.

An extensive post medieval drainage system is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1946 to the northwest of Didlington Farm, Chalbury (1-2). It was digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP. Much of the area has since been levelled by ploughing. Some linear features (possibly semi-natural) are however visible as low earthworks on lidar imagery to the north (3). The features cover an area 650m by 450m and were digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.
