Please read our .

Summary

A group of curvilinear cropmarks are visible on aerial photographs in the vicinity of the Bronze Age barrow cemetery north of High Lea Farm; eight sub-circular features lie to the northwest of the barrow group. They are between 15m and 33m across but not thought to be bowl barrows; the cropmarks indicate that they are hollows rather than mounds. They are possibly pond barrows but a natural geological origin is thought probable. The features were digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.
