Narrow ridge and furrow cultivation marks are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1946 to the north of Holt Wood (1). The features may be of medieval (or later) date, they were digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP. The features remained intact until at least 2009 (2).
